You don’t have to be as ancient as me to be a “true” SHCJ, as knowledgeable as Ai, nor do you have to buy tons of albums.
What differentiates a SHCJ from “just a fan” is that you’re willing to put in the extra effort and sacrifice however you can because Shinhwa’s success and happiness are important to you. Elevating Shinhwa and SHCJ’s name are important to you. You don’t want to just passively consume and spazz, you want and are willing to do what it takes to meaningfully contribute.

I think The Return is a lackluster album compared to Shinhwa’s last three. I’ve felt this way for a while but I’ve kept quiet on tumblr out of the respect for everyone that loves it. I’m not in love with the album save for three songs, it feels like shinhwa were following trends as opposed to setting it like they did in the past. It felt as if they were scared/tentative.
Brand New, state of the art, and volume 9 are pieces of art and I just feel like for a comeback album after a long time that this one just kinda sucked.
